What really holds an iOS team back.
It isn’t “we don’t know the latest API”. It’s keeping a production app shipping while Swift, Xcode and the way we work with AI keep changing.
-
The app mixes generations of technology, and migrating it all at once has no business case.
Your app doesn’t live in the keynote. It lives in production.
Fix-itIncremental migration: we pick a module, assess the risk, adapt concurrency and leave a pattern the team can repeat on its own.
-
There are one or two iOS specialists and nobody with the judgment to review their work.
Your company’s only iOS developer shouldn’t also be their own reviewer.
Fix-itTechnical mentoring for the team: reviews of real pull requests, reasoned architecture decisions and an onboarding guide for whoever joins next.
-
Long builds and a fragile delivery pipeline eat hours out of every sprint.
If waiting for Xcode is part of the sprint, there’s a problem worth measuring.
Fix-itWe measure build, CI and signing times, and teach the team to find the bottleneck before switching tools.
-
AI generates code faster than the team can review it.
AI already writes more code. Now you have to decide which code deserves to reach production.
Fix-itAn agent workflow for the whole team: specification, limits on changes, mandatory builds and tests, and shared acceptance criteria.
-
Decisions like “native or WebView” get made in a hurry, and the cost shows up later.
Don’t choose technology out of fashion or fear: choose knowing what you give up.
Fix-itA decision workshop built on your own cases: user experience, native capabilities, maintenance and cost.
What your team takes away.
- A real problem solved, chosen by you in the assessment
- Guided work on a module of your app, or an anonymized version of it
- A pattern, a checklist or a reference pull request to repeat it without us
- Shared judgment: less dependence on the one person who “knows the app”
- A certificate of achievement for each person on the team
- More productivity and lower cost in every sprint
The training is done when your team can apply what it learned to the next module without us.

How we work
Like a pipeline: every stage has a clear output, and nothing moves to the next one without your approval.
-
assessment
We get to know your team
A conversation with whoever leads the team and, if needed, a review of your code and your processes.
-
proposal
We propose a plan
Curriculum, schedule, format and budget, in writing. And, if you need it, who can handle FUNDAE for you.
-
training
We train on real work
Live classes with examples from your domain, exercises and access to recordings.
-
certification
We certify
We assess what was learned on a real case, and each person receives a certificate of achievement.
-
follow-up
We measure and stay with you
A progress report, a review session with the team and support for questions afterwards.
Formats
- Intensive
- 2 to 5 consecutive days on one specific topic (for example, migrating to Swift 6).
- Recurring
- Weekly 2–4 h sessions that run alongside your sprints.
- Long program
- Tracks lasting several months to reskill people or train juniors.
- Briefing
- One day after each WWDC to decide what to adopt and what to expect.
FUNDAE: you choose who files it
FUNDAE is Spain’s training credit system. We’re an accredited provider, so all our training is eligible. Your company files the application. If you have no one to do it, we’ll introduce you to someone who does it for you.
-
1
You check your credit
Every company has a yearly training credit. If you don’t know yours, whoever files for you will check it.
-
2
You choose who handles it
Your own team, your usual advisers or, if you have no one, the partner we work with, who takes care of everything.
-
3
You recover the cost
Your company deducts the credit from its social security contributions.

“He makes an effort so that his training explains the why of things, and he doesn’t stop at showing techniques.”
A note from Julio César Fernández
Companies don’t come to us because we’re the cheapest. They come because we train on their code, not on slides, and because their team comes out working at a higher level: more productivity and lower costs.
— Julio

The next step
Let’s start with an assessment.
Tell us what your team does, what’s holding you back and what deadlines you have. You’ll leave with a plan, even if you then decide to do it on your own.
What we’ll analyze
- What your team builds, and with which stack
- Which warnings worry you (and which shouldn’t)
- Format, schedule and group size
- FUNDAE and budget
What you take away, whether you join or not
A written proposal with curriculum, schedule and budget.
